Allford Hall Monaghan Morris is committed to design buildings which inspire and delight with economy and elegance, of which The Rowe in Whitechapel is a fine example. Inspired by Rachel Whiteread’s Fourth Plinth, the building is split into two parts, a combination of old and new, intersected by a vibrant public art work designed by Yinka Ilori. Working closely with the architects and filmed over several months, we were able to document the transformation of the building and create a film revealing the process of the design and extension of the former London Metropolitan School of Art, Architecture and Design.
