Founded by Felix Conran and Alex Willcock, Maker&Son began with a simple dream: to create beautiful things from natural materials that make a positive difference to people’s lives, forever. Since launching, the sustainable furniture brand has gone from strength to strength, with showrooms now open in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the US. As part of their latest round of crowdfunding, we caught up with Co-Founder Felix in their newly-opened Manhattan showroom and heard about the expansion of the business, the building’s iconic history, and his love of the city.
